Golf for St. Jude May 22

The Fifth Annual 3-Man Scramble Golf Tournament for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is scheduled for Saturday, May 22, 2010 at the Hohenwald Municipal Golf Course. Entry fee will include green fee, cart and lunch. Tee time is 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. with shotgun start. All proceeds from sponsors go to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
A Kick-Off Banquet will also be held at Amber Falls Winery on Ridgetop Road Thursday, May 20, 2010 from 6:30-9:30. Tickets include Hors d’ oeuvres, wine, and live entertainment featuring Luke Dunkin Band, Barry Bigbie, and Master of Ceremonies Phil Thomas. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is internationally recognized for its pioneering work in finding cures and saving children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. St. Jude is the first and only pediatric cancer center to be designated as a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute. Founded by the late entertainer Danny Thomas and based in Memphis, St. Jude freely shares its discoveries with scientific and medical communities around the world. St. Jude is the only pediatric cancer research center where families never pay for treatment not covered by insurance. No child is ever denied treatment because of the family’s inability to pay.
