Funeral services were held Sunday, February 14, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McDonald Funeral Home. Johnny Clayton, minister of Kimmins Church of Christ, officiating. Burial took place in the O’Guin Cemetery.
A retired employee of Monsanto, Mr. Hinson was married to Shirley Garrett Hinson. He was born December 4, 1929 to the late Richard Stanfield Hinson, Sr. and Goldie Simmons Hinson.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include one daughter, Marisa (Charles) Durham of Knoxville; one sister, Ermadean Hickerson of Centerville; and one granddaughter, Kirstie Marie Durham of Knoxville.
