Morris
Services for Frances Marion Pulley Morris, of Clifton, were held Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Beech Creek Full Gospel Church with Larry Janes officiating. Burial followed in Worley Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Morris, a native of Lawrence County, died Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at the home of her daughter in Brownsville at the age of 87 years, 5 months, 5 days.
Born January 18, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Walter Woods and Annie Ura Kelso Pulley. She was a homemaker and a member of Beech Creek Full Gospel Church.
She is survived by seven sons, Earl Morris and Franklin Morris both of Hohenwald, Harold Morris, Charles Morris, and David Morris, all of Waynesboro, Don Morris of Clifton and Virgil Morris of Savannah; one daughter, Kathleen (Morris) Livingston of Brownsville; one brother, Royce Pulley of Waynesboro; 16 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Coy Morris, brother, Thomas Pulley; and sisters, Imogene Prater and Nell Todd.
