Woodall

Funeral services were held in Lawrenceburg at Neal Funeral Home Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. Brother Charles Gresham and Brother Ricky Webb officiated.  Interment was at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg.

A successful business owner and President of Woodall Construction Company for 32 years, Mr. Woodall was a native of Lawrence County, and a member of Meadowview Baptist Church.

Mr. Woodall was a community supporter and sponsored numerous ball teams in Lewis County. He also served as a board member of First Citizens Bank of Hohenwald for many years and was a Lawrence County Commissioner for four years.  He was a generous supporter to his church, family and community.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lula Bell Gallian Woodall of Lawrenceburg; two sons, Glenn Edward Woodall and Tony Lenn (Karen) Woodall of Lawrenceburg; daughters-in-law, Scarlette Woodall  of Hohenwald and JoAnn Woodall of Lawrenceburg; one sister, Ruby (Leon) Stockard of Michigan; eight grandchildren, Tonya (Michael) Longshore, Crystal (Brian) Gulley, Holly (Chad) Rhinehart, Poppy (Perry) Bass,  Jade (Nathan) Sampler, Noah Woodall, Dustin Woodall and Kristen Woodall nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George W. and Genary Flippo Woodall, one son, Larry Wayne Woodall, and two brothers, A. D. Woodall and Drewey Keener.
