Randall Christy and Blake Chandler were honored with Certificates of Recognition Monday, July 26, 2021 for their courageous actions. Hohenwald Police Officer Chris Himes and son, Casen, were fishing recently at the Buffalo River Blueway at the Mouth of Grinders Creek when Casen passed out and became unconscious. Randall and Blake were in the area working when they noticed Himes in trouble. They immediately jumped in the water to help Chris and Casen who were downstream.
