Doris June Sims, age 80, passed away on January 5, 2020, at her home in Mount Pleasant.

She was born on March 12, 1939 to the late Grady L. Baker and Mary Frances Loveless Baker in Lewis County. She was a member of Mt. Joy Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She worked in the cafeteria and custodian at Mount Pleasant Elementary School for 28 years. She enjoyed being the neighborhood watch on Joy Road, not many things went on without her knowing.
