Lewis County Clerk's office issuing driver's license renewals

Driver's license services are now being offered in the Lewis County Clerk's office for the first time in many years. Lewis County Clerk Sandra Clayton recently issued the first Real ID driver's license in Lewis County to Donna Carroll.

"We look forward to offering this service to our community," Clayton stated.

To purchase the Real ID license, the following original or certified documents must be available: proof to establish citizenship or legal presence, proof of your full social security number, two proofs of Tennessee residency, and documentation of any name changes must also be provided.

Services, renewals and duplicates only, will be available by appointment between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays starting February 4, 2020.
