Sara Ellen (Malugin) Amacher, age 95 of Hohenwald, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2020, at NHC Tullahoma.

Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 23 in the McDonald Funeral Home chapel with Greg Smith officiating. Burial followed in the Swiss Cemetery.

She was born on October 11, 1924, in Centerville to Robert Percy and Nancy Pearl (Harrison) Malugin. She was a graduate of Hickman County High School.

In 1949, she married the love of her life, W.C. "Buddy" Amacher. They were married for 55 years until his passing in 2005. Mrs. Amacher was a member of the Hohenwald Church...
