Donald Milton Brown, age 65 of Hampshire, passed away at his residence on Sunday, March 8.

He was born on April 5, 1954 in Hohenwald to the late James Walker Brown, Jr. and Mary (Fields) Brown. He was a veteran of the Navy who enjoyed the quiet and peacefulness of the country. He lived on the family farm on Cathey's Creek and enjoyed being to himself. He loved Tennessee sports, especially the Vols and the Titans. But more than anything he loved and adored his late wife, Peggy (Anderson) Brown and was heartbroken after her passing.

He is survived by two sisters, Pam (Mark) Davis of Fayettevile, Georgia and Amanda (Jim) Nave of Christiana; a step-son, Robbie Anderson of Texas, nine nieces and nephews and six great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 12 beginning at 2 p.m. in the Brown Cemetery on Cathey's Creek. McDonald Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
