Ama Lou Baker, age 79 of Collinwood, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2020, at Wayne County Nursing and Rehab.

Mrs. Baker was born on May 16, 1940, in Lewis County to Jack and Francis Brown. She married Melvin Brown and they resided in Hohenwald for a number of years. She worked at Dana until her retirement.

She is survived by an adopted son, Timothy Sood of Frankfort, Indiana; one nephew, Bobby Brown of Hohenwald; and one very close friend, Mishell Brewer of Collinwood.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two children.
