Ray Jett

Ray Thomas Jett passed away unexpectedly on March 29, 2020, in Hohenwald at the age of 50.

Ray was born on July 6, 1969, to Thomas and Blanche Jett. He graduated from Culleoka High School in 1988 and worked for Allison-Walker Die Casting for over 30 years.

Ray was bigger than life and was loved by all who know him. He never met a stranger and anyone who met him never forgot him. Ray loved the Tennessee River and their camp.

Ray was preceded in death by his fraternal grandparents, Wilma and Howard Jett; mother, Blanche Jett; and grandson, Bryson Ray Jett.

Survivors include his wife, Laura Hiatt Jett; sons, Dustin (Krista) Jett and Brandon (Amanda) Jett; step-children, Samantha Marciniak, Sal Marciniak, and Stevie Ray Ballinger; father, Thomas Jett; brothers, Timmy (Angie) Jett and Troy (Jessica) Jett; sister, Rebecca (Joe) Caldwell of Florida; grandchildren, McKenzie and Riley Jett; and several nieces and nephews and his "River" family.

The family will have a private memorial service at Polk Memorial Gardens in Columbia.

Williams Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
