Marian Michalene (Jasinski) Yates took her heavenly flight on April 4, 2020. She was 70 years old. Marian was born in Wyandotte, Michigan on February 17, 1950, to John M. and Winona Jasinski.

She was the loving wife of Jerry Yates for 51 years, and the dedicated and wonderful mother of Michael Yates. She was a member of the Pineview Church of Christ.

Other survivors are brother, Frank Jasinski of Wyandotte, Michigan; aunt, Marian Antal of Hohenwald; aunt, Mary Ellen Jasinski of Wyandotte, Michigan; and several adoring nieces and nephews. Her friends are countless.

At the time of her death, she was the manager of Citizens Bank of Lewis County, a branch of Wayne County Bank, completing a 35 year career in local banking.

Marian is preceded in death by her parents, John and Winona Jaskinski; her dear brother, John Jasinski; and two loving uncles, Louis Antal and Steve Jasinski.

A private graveside service was held at Grinder's Creek Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
