sudden stop - A Nissan Frontier driven by Chris Calvert lost control on Napier Lake Road Friday morning, April 17, about 7 a.m. and landed upside down in the ditch at 226 Napier Lake Road. Calvert, of Hohenwald, was traveling south and failed to negotiate the sharp curve.

He demolished the mailbox and post of Freddy Hardy and damaged some of his fencing. Also his Nissan pick-up was destroyed. Calvert said he had to kick out the back glass of the cab to exit the vehicle before he choked on the air bag dust. Calvert was wearing his seatbelt and was shaken up but not injured.
