Local deputies recently involved in two high speed pursuits

On two different occasions, Lewis County Sheriff Deputies were involved in high speed chases.
Deputy Brandon Grady and Sgt. Tony Grillo were notified that Maury County Sheriff's Department was in a pursuit with a light blue Lincoln car on March 31, 2020. The vehicle, traveling west on Highway 412, was believed to be driven by Taylor King who had felony warrants out of Maury County.
Deputy Grady met the vehicle at Big Swan, activated his emergency equipment and tried unsuccessfully to stop the vehicle.
