Park and recreation facilities at the Lewis County Fairgrounds (Memorial Park) were available for family use. The park now had two tennis courts, barbecue pits, shuffle board, playground equipment, croquet, badminton, and boxes to meet the needs of children of all ages. The Lewis County Agriculture Workers Association sponsored the improvements at the park which was accomplished with the work and donations of other clubs and county non-profits.
