Kindergarten Registration

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Lewis County Elementary School was not able to hold the usual kindergarten registration which was scheduled for early April.

Enrollment cards and student data and medical information forms may be picked up at the front entrance of the elementary school building.

Parents or guardians are asked to complete and return these forms along with a copy of the child’s birth certificate and certificate of immunization and current physical by May 15, 2020. These items may be dropped off at the LCES office or at the white house on the south end of LCES on the corner, 317 South Oak Street.

“Please return the completed enrollment card, student data and medical information forms even if you do not have your required documents. This will help us to get an approximate number of kindergarteners which we will have for the 2020-2021 school year and allow us to start registering kindergarten students into our system,” Principal Dr. Mike Taylor stated.

“We will be in touch with you this summer if you do not turn in the required documents along with your enrollment forms,” he concluded.

Other forms will be needed filled out at a later date, possibly the beginning of the school year.
