Authorities received a report of a single vehicle accident around 3:20 p.m. on Monday, May 11 involving Joe Shipp of Hohenwald.

The accident occurred on Highway 20, near Louis Pigg Road and Himestown Church.

Shipp was travelling East when the vehicle left the roadway and rode the ditch for approximately 75 yards, said investigating officers.

“I don’t remember anything, I just blacked out,” said Shipp.
