Tennessee National Guard salutes healthcare workers with statewide flyovers

This Tennessee National Guard C-17 roared overhead at lunchtime Tuesday in honor of healthcare workers and their contributions during the recent COVID-19 pandemic.
A C-17 streaked across Hohenwald's skies on Tuesday, May 12 at approximately 12:54 p.m., loud enough for everyone in town to hear.
The Tennessee National Guard scheduled a flight path for two aircrafts, a C-17 and a KC-135, to fly over hospitals and healthcare facilities across the state, in order to honor Tennessee's healthcare workers.
Healthcare workers have been on the front-lines in fighting COVID-19, and in many cases, Tennessee's National Guard members have assisted alongside them.
