Mercy Webb Lomax was born at Maury Regional Hospital on May 14, 2020 to Michael and Abby Lomax. She weighed 6 lbs 3.8 oz and was 19 inches long.

Mercy is the granddaughter of Nicki and the late Randy Jones, Darryl King, and Shanda Lomax. She is the great-granddaughter of Paul and Pat Gandy, Joyce Clayton and the late Francis Jones.

"The COVID-19 restrictions made it a very different experience. With everyone wearing masks I don't even remember what most of the nurses even looked like.

"We weren't allowed any visitors and they even kept contact with the hospital staff to the bare minimum unless we needed something. We had to have food delivered because we weren't allowed to leave or even go outside. The restrictions ended up making it a very private experience for just our little family and it will always be something that I remember," said Abby Lomax.
