Virtual Teen Safe Program

Lewis County Middle School seventh and eighth graders are encouraged to participate in a Zoom video conference party to play Kahoot.

All students participating will receive a certificate for a Snappy’s personal pan pizza. All students taking the Kahoot Challenge “Know your Risk,” will have the opportunity to win some cash. Overall winner will receive $50.00, second place $30.00, and third place $20.00.

Kahoot is a game-based learning platform, used as educational technology in schools. Zoom is an easy, reliable cloud platform for video and audio conferencing. To participate students will need internet access and a computer to join the Zoom party and a smart phone to login to Kahoot to participate in the challenge. LCMS seventh and eighth graders must register online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/teensafe2020. Registered students will receive an email with a link to participate.

Thinking outside the box to interact with youth in a social distancing world takes some creativity and innovation and organizers of Teen Safe Night are working hard to host the first virtual Teen Safe Program. For more information you may contact the schools’ Family Resource Center 796-2375 or Coordinated School Health 796-3324.

Once again, the virtual Teen Safe Program for seventh and eighth graders is set for Tuesday, May 26 at 1 p.m. To participate students must register at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/teensafe2020 by Sunday, May 24.
