"Bud" Seiber

On the morning of May 24, 2020, Springer Lee "Bud" Seiber passed away in his Hohenwald home at the age of 83.

He was born in Lewis County on March 22, 1937 to the late Levi and Bobbie (McClain) Seiber.

He was also preceded in death by his life long friend, Freddie Holt.

Mr. Seiber was a member of Piney Baptist Church. He also owned and operated his own lawn care business for many years after farming for most of his life.

He enjoyed being in the outdoors, often going for a day of fishing and in earlier years some hunting. On beautiful days, he could be found outside in his vegetable garden. He enjoyed living off the land and would can anything and everything he could. In the evenings, he would sit in his chair and work on his word searches or just spend time with his family. In his 83 years, Mr. Seiber never met a stranger and was welcoming to all who met him.

Mr. Seiber is survived by his wife, Judy (Durham) Seiber; a son, Michael Glenn (Katherine) Seiber; a daughter, Marcy Lynn (Rourk) Seiber-Freedman; grandchildren, Ryan, Lilly and Reed Freedman, Heather Renee Guthrie, Christopher Charles Brenner and Danielle Nicole Brenner; great grandchildren, Gary Lee Robson, Maliki Michael Brenner, Gissele Brenner, Mia Jean Brenner, Isiaha Brenner and Jase McCamis; a brother, Les Seiber; and sisters, Margaret Mills, Pearl (Roy) Patto and Eathl Boyd; along with several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be planned at a later time. Adair Funeral and Cremation Services assisted the family with arrangements.
