Gillian Veronica (Dey) Charles

Gillian Veronica Dey-Charles, 57, of Hohenwald died unexpectedly on May 21, 2020 at her home. She was born September 1, 1962 to Sherlock & Joan (Graham) Dey in Guyana, South America. Mrs. Charles attended two colleges to obtain a double master's degree in Education and Special Education. She was a member of 7th day Adventist Church in Linden.

Gillian was always willing to help those in need. She and her husband left their jobs to begin missionary work throughout the country. She believed in natural healing and would not hesitate to stop and help anyone in need. She never met a stranger and was always willing to spread the word of God in her travels.

In her spare time, she enjoyed researching different health topics and watching espionage TV shows with her family. In her short time here, she has touched many lives - from those that went to church with them or someone she met while walking down the street. She will be missed by the many people that have had the opportunity to meet this amazing woman in their lifetime.

Mrs. Charles leaves behind her husband, Cleveland Charles; children, Renee Nàtori, Twila Burrowes, and Quaci Dey; siblings, Tessa Dey, Tony Dey, and Shawn Dey; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service will be planned at a future date.
