The High Forest Releaf team, Shawn Thibeault, Delana Hayes, and Justin Curtis, supported by community members and leaders as they unveil their new storefront.
High Forest ReLeaf officially opened its doors on Thursday, June 4, on South Park Avenue.
Owner, Shawn Thibeault, started out the event by thanking everyone for their support throughout the community.
Thibeault explained that some of their products are a cannabis strain, but it is not the same as marijuana because it is without the component (called THC) that gets you high or psychoactive.
What their products do contain is CBD, said Thibeault. CBD is a compound that targets pain and inflammation, which can help with things like epilepsy and seizures.
