Hohenwald Police, Hohenwald Fire and Maury Regional Emergency personnel responded to a two vehicle accident Friday, July 3, at 11:50 a.m. with reported injuries.

HPD Sgt. Michael Dunn reported that a Ford Explorer, driven by Hannah Ricketts, pulled from Edgefield Drive onto Summertown Highway into the path of Billy Meek III, traveling east in a Chevrolet Malibu.

Meek was transported by ground ambulance with non-life threatening injuries. Neither Ricketts or two passengers in the Malibu were injured. Assisting Sgt. Dunn were Sgt. Larry Joe Hinson, Officer Jordan Alkire and Officer Kalum Halfacre.

Taylor's Wrecker was called to tow both vehicles to clear the roadway.
