The State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP/SMP) provides information and counseling on Medicare issues. Since we do not sell insurance or any other products, we can provide unbiased assistance with comparisons for Prescription Drug Plans, Medicare Advantage, supplement plans etc....

While the South Central Tennessee Development District office is currently closed to the public due to the COVID-19 health care crisis, we continue to assist beneficiaries by phone, email or fax.
