Several thunderstorms came through the area over the last week or two and some damage occurred with trees down and power outages in the community. On Sunday morning, there was lots of rain and thunder along with strong winds and trees down causing power outages. Some had no power most of the day on Sunday. We had to eat breakfast and dress by candlelight, which was not much fun, but still made it to church on time. I guess it does us good to have to be without what we are used to some times to remind us of what could be and has been in the past.
