Joint Economic Community Development Board holds third quarter meeting

Hohenwald, Lewis County's Joint Economic & Community Development Board (JECDB) convened for the third quarterly meeting on July 14, 2020 at Lewis County Courthouse.
Attending were Johnny Clayton, Hohenwald/Lewis County Chamber President Blake Farr, Lewis County Mayor Jonah Keltner and City of Hohenwald Mayor Danny McKnight. Absent were Yogi Spears, Bert Moore and EC&D Coordinator Helen Ozier.
City Mayor McKnight informed the board meter change outs in for City water and gas customers were ongoing.
County Mayor Jonah Keltner presented statistics on the number of Lewis County residents who have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.
Chamber President Farr reported that, to date, the Chamber's annual Oktober Heritage Festival was still on. An update of the Chamber's website was also underway.
Having no new business, the meeting adjourned and the JECDB planned to meet again in October.
