A Community Development Block Grant funded the purchase. Lewis County received extensive assistance from the City of Hohenwald in retrieving the necessary survey information.

The CDBG funding from the State of Tennessee, obtained with the assistance of Ms. Fisher and State Senator Dr. Hensley, covered $299,822.77 of the cost with Lewis County adding $33,315.82.
