Mr. and Mrs. Simmons

Gatlyn Simmons and Darcy Jacks exchanged wedding vows on Saturday, June 13, 2020 in downtown Chattanooga. Clear blue skies set the scene for a beautiful outdoor setting.

The bride and groom chose the colors of light pink, mauve, burgundy and champagne for the wedding.

Bridesmaids were Hannah Mason, Chloe Hall, Abby Jacks, Gracey Simmons, Emeri Bethune, Kelsey Ivey and Kaylie Ownby. Nora Mason and Raylee Turner served as flower girls.

Liam Mason served as the couple's ring bearer. Groomsmen were Brennan Holt, Zac Gafford, Braxton Brinkley, Tyler Mazrimas, Janson Roberson, Colton Clark and Stephen Pryor.

After the ceremony, a cocktail hour for family pictures was held followed by the reception. A beautiful two-tiered vanilla Bundt cake and a single tier red velvet groom's cake were served.

"Lady" by Brett Young was played as the bride and her father took the floor for the daddy/daughter dance. Gatlyn danced with his mother to the tune of "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts followed by a little performance by the two dancing to "The Git Up". The couple were serenaded with speeches and toasts from friends and family members.

Bubbles were blown as the couple exited the reception.

Darcy is the daughter of Jeff and Darlene Jacks of Cleveland. She is the granddaughter of Billy and Jeanette Jacks, and Audrey Cooper.

Gatlyn is the son of Randal and Tammy Simmons and the grandson of Theresa and Bill Lynch and Mike and Mary Simmons, all of Hohenwald.
