Series: COVID-19 | Story 18

August 6, 2020

With the number of positive COVID-19 cases increasing in the Meriwether Lewis Electric Cooperative service area, the cooperative has made the decision to close office lobbies August 4-18.

“We will continue to be available 24/7 to respond to power outages and have several non-contact options in place that will allow us to deliver the same level of service to our members during this time,” says MLEC President and CEO Keith Carnahan. “We will continue to monitor this situation and communicate any changes. Our goal is to act responsibly and with care in serving our communities.”

• Drive-thru windows will remain open during regular business hours. When receiving service, please alert the MLEC team member if you do not feel well, or have been in contact with some who is sick, so that extra precautions can be taken.

• We will continue to respond to outages 24/7. To report an outage during regular business hours, contact your local office. Outside of 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday, reach out to our call center at 1-888-879-6038.

• For convenience, several other payment options are available to MLEC and MLConnect consumer-members: Online at http://www.mlec.com, MLEC app, phoning MLEC and selecting OPTION 5, Auto Draft, Mail, Drop Box at local office or Kiosk in outer lobby area.
