Patsy Maxine Hunter, age 64, passed away on July 29, 2020, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.

Patsy was born on April 12, 1956, in Hohenwald, a daughter of the late James Taylor and Mary Ruth Clayton Stutts.

Patsy retired this year from her job as a cafeteria manager at Crockett Elementary School. She was an anointed leader who loved people and served her church family faithfully at Napier Pentecostal Church in teaching, preaching and planning. She blessed so many with her music.

A service was held at Napier Pentecostal Church on Saturday, August 1, 2020, at 2 p.m. with Todd Yates and James Mitchell officiating.

Patsy is survived by her loving husband, Wayne Hunter; her children, Shane Hunter (Rachel); Shonda Hunter Yates (Todd); and Patrick Hunter (Kassy); her grandchildren, Alex, Allen, Emilie, Aaron, Gracie, Jonas, Ella, Silas, Reagan, Madison, Ivara, Xayah and Clara; and her great-grandchildren, Aleina and Chloe.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Napier Pentecostal Church in Patsy's honor.

Williams Funeral Home & Crematory assisted the family with arrangements.
