Glen Everett Ammons, age 96, passed away from this home to his eternal home on Friday, August 7, 2020, exactly one month after the loss of his beloved wife and best friend of 71 years, Bettye Ammons.

He was born on March 25, 1924 in Hohenwald to the late Bill and Esther (Norman) Ammons. He was an Army veteran of World War II, stationed in Alaska. Though he never saw combat, he was extremely proud of his service and proud of his country.
