LCMS Golf Teams Win Two-Day Matches

The Lewis County Middle School golf team hosted Hickman County and East Hickman on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Hohenwald Municipal Golf Course.

In girls play, Lewis County's Abby Carroll was low-medalist, shooting a 17. Linley Harris shot a 26, tied for second, for the Panthers.

Lewis County girls finished first in the team matchups with a 43, defeating Hickman County's 52.

In boys play, Lewis County's Brayden Whitlow finished his round with a 22, which made him the low-medalist for the match. Other scores for Lewis County golfers included Mason Owen with a 31, River Carroll with a 31, Bo Banks with a 36, and Ryder Ward with a 42.

Lewis County won the boys team matchups with an 84, Hickman County finished second with an 87, and East Hickman third with a 118.

The LCHS golf team was back on the course on Thursday, September 10, when they traveled to Graymere Country Club in Columbia for matches with Whitthorne Middle and E.A. Cox.

Abby Carroll was once again the low-medalist in the match, leading the Lewis County girls with a 32. Lady Panther Linley Harris was second individually with a 44.

The Lady Panthers won the team match with Whitthorne Middle 76-91.

Brayden Whitlow was low-medalist as well in the boys match, firing a 25 on the day. River Carroll finished second with a 35, Ryder Ward was tied for third with a 39. Bo Banks shot a 40 and Mason Owen a 42 for the Panthers.

The Panthers won the team matchup, shooting a team score of 60 to Whitthorne's 89.

Lewis County Golf was back in action on Tuesday, September 15 when they hosted Summertown.

LCMS Golf wins again

The Lewis County Middle School golf team hosted Linden and Lobelville at Hohenwald Municipal Golf Course on Thursday, September 17.

Abby Carroll of Lewis County was the low-medalist in the match, leading the Lewis County girls with a 35. Lady Panther Linley Harris finished the day with a 42.

The Lady Panthers won the team match with a score of 77. Linden finished second with an 80, and Lobelville third with an 86.

Dane Warren of Linden was low-medalist in the boys match as he shot a 28. Brayden Whitlow of Lewis County finished the day with a 30. Other scores for Lewis County included Mason Owen and River Carroll each with a 34, Bo Banks with a 37, and Ryder Ward with a 45.

Lewis County and Linden tied for first in the team match with a 98, and Lobelville finished third with a 115.

Lewis County Golf teams played their last games of the season on Monday, September 21 with the Fall Classic Tournament at Hohenwald Municipal Golf Course.
