Funeral services for Alvin Eugene "Daddy Gene" Durham were conducted at McDonald Funeral Home in Hohenwald on Friday, September 25, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. with burial in Swiss Cemetery. He was born on May 30, 1933 and peacefully passed away at his home on September 22, 2020.

Officiating at the funeral were Kenny Durham, Don Hull and Daddy Gene's grandchildren. Pall bearers were John Hull, Joshua Hull, David Baker, Cranford Durham, Dwain Johnson and Dean Copeland.
