It is with great sadness that the family of Paula Suzanne Tanner Brewer announce her passing on September 23, 2020 after a prolonged illness.

Suzy was born in Lewis County on June 18, 1950, where she lived her entire life, with her family who predeceased her; parents, Betty Lou Pace Tanner and Robert Elvis Tanner; and Judith Faye Tanner.

Her grandparents were Sallie Pauline Sisco Pace and Clyde Andrew Pace of Lewis County and Daniel Boone Tanner and Beasie Lee Joyce of Hickman County.

Survivors include many cousins.

Suzy graduated from Lewis County High School Class of 1968, where she made life-long friends and lasting memories. She also worked at Walmart from 1990 to 2007, where she created new and lasting friendships.

Suzy will be fondly remembered for her bright red smile, her love of frogs, spotted cows and determination.

Her service will be held graveside at Loveless Cemetery on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 10 a.m. This will be a time to gather with friends and family to reminiscence on old and recent memories.

McDonald Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
