Early Voting Underway

Early voting for the November 3rd Federal/State General and Lewis County General Election began Wednesday, October 14 and ends Thursday, October 29, 2020.

If voting by mail, voters must meet certain legal qualifications. A voter desiring to vote absentee by mail must request an application no later than Tuesday, October 27.

The State and Federal General Election ballot will consist of the Presidential Election, United States Senate, United States House of Representatives, District 7, Tennessee Senate, District 28, and Tennessee House of Representatives, District 71.

Added on the ballot for the Lewis County General Election is: Patrick Baxter running for District 6 Constable; Justin Davis and Larry W. Stewart running for District 8 Constable; and Larry F. Pigg and Twila Pigg running for District 1 County Commissioner.

The office will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Saturday, October 17 and 24 from 8 a.m. until noon for early voting.
