Girl Scouts continue activities

The Lewis County Girl Scout Junior and Cadet group recently experienced the task of making food from kits. Those participating were Bailey and Shelby Kwider, Mara Trainor, Briley Marshall, and Madison Crowell.
They enjoyed sharing and trying the different foods they created. Any girl in grades 6 through 8 is welcome to join the group which meets on Thursdays at 4:30 p.m.
While out of school on fall break, the Lewis County Girl Scout Daisy Troop 1521 and Brownie Troop 3033 took a bowling trip to Tenn Pin Alley.
The girls bowled two games.
Participating were, left, Kaitlynn Tripp, bowling 70 and 87; Eva Duncan, bowling 85 and 82; and Maria Tripp, bowling 82 and 69. The girls enjoyed pizza after bowling.
