MLEC and TVA make changes to price schedules in October

Meriwether Lewis Electric Cooperative members will see a few changes on their October statement. The overall impact is a 2.9 percent ($3.95) decrease for residential members using 1200 kilowatt-hours.

Changes include a slight increase to the Tennessee Valley Authority fuel cost adjustment and a switch from the higher summer rate (June-September) to the lower fall (October and November) price. Additionally, Meriwether Lewis Electric Cooperative plans a revenue-neutral price realignment for residential, GSA-1 and GSA-2 rate classifications in how it covers fixed costs such as maintaining sub...
