Early Voting Turnout exceeds expectations

It's only Day 5 of early voting and it's clear that voter turnout is even bigger than expected.
A total of 2,025 people in Lewis County have already voted as of Tuesday morning, before print day. That's more than double the turnout of the 2016 early voting!
Rusty Isbell, Administrator of Elections, and Tammy Skelton Carroll, Deputy AOE, said the election office has been so busy they have not had time to eat lunch.
Isbell reported that there are 8,326 registered voters for Lewis County this year. Last year there were 7,627 registered voters.
