Larry Stewart has announced his candidacy for the office of constable in the eight district of Lewis County.

In making his announcement Mr. Stewart stated, "With aproximately 26 years of law enforcement experience, 12 of those years were in the capacity of constable.

"I feel as though I have proven that I have the experience, dedication, knowledge and extensive training required to be an effective, compassionate, as well as an unbiased, law enforcement officer.

"I also feel I have the specific knowledge that pertains to that of the office of constable, swuch as the roles, responsibilities, and requirements for serving in the capacity of constable.
