UNITED STATES - More than 96 million Americans had already cast ballots in early in-person and mail-in voting. According to election officials, the race, as usual, may come down to a few key states. This year, all eyes are on Arizona and Pennsylvania as they don’t even start counting mailed ballots until election day. Puerto Rico is also voting, again, on possible statehood, and other local votes on abortion accessibility and marijuana legality are being made.

With federal law allowing states to report votes until December 8, we may not have a winner on election night, and it wouldn’t be the first time. In 2000, George W. Bush finally officially declared victory in December and after a Supreme Court showdown.
