Record-breaking turnout for the 2020 Election

Lewis County experienced a record-breaking turnout casting ballots in-person during early voting, on Election Day, or absentee by-mail in the November 3, 2020 presidential election.

Voters turned out and participated, beating the previous 2016 election by 971 votes. Out of 8,329 registered voters in Lewis County, 4,050 voted early or absentee, 1,593 the day of election, and five were provisionals for a total of 5,648 ballots cast.
