Jobbit

On the evening of November 6, 2020, local business woman, Robin Marie Riordan Jobbitt, left this earthly world at the age of 54 after a short battle of cancer.

Her generosity continued even after her passing when she became an organ donor to help those in need.

She was born in Appleton, Wisconsin on June 26, 1966 to Barbara Jean Bailey Riordan and the late Bill Riordan.

On September 22, 1990, she married Douglas Jobbitt and together raised three wonderful children. She was homemaker first and foremost, but later in life she opened the "Ultimate Garage Sale" in Hohenwald. If you ever visited the store, you will never forget the smile that greeted you when entering the door. She was always there to help when someone had lost their home to a fire or was down on their luck.

Robin had an immense love for animals and was regularly active with the High Forest Humane Society in Hohenwald.

When she was not behind the lens of a camera trying to get the perfect shot, she would be scrapbooking or playing a game of Bunco. When things were quiet, she enjoyed traveling and exploring new areas.

Those who had the chance to spend time with Robin knew just how amazing of a woman, wife, and mother she was. She has left behind many memories for her family to cherish and pass down to generations to come.

Mrs. Jobbitt is survived by her husband, Douglas Jobbitt; children, Allison Jobbitt, Daniel Jobbitt, and Jamie Taylor; her mother, Barbara Bailey Riordan; grandchildren, Alana, Joey, and Keith; and a sister, Rochelle Scott.

Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her sister Rhonda Porter.

Adair Funeral and Cremation Services assisted the family with arrangements.
