The Lewis County Middle School Lady Panthers and Panthers held a "Black Out" at LCMS for their games on Thursday night, November 5th against the Sacred Heart Lions of Lawrenceburg.

The Lady Panthers jumped out early on the Lady Lions, running up an 11-0 lead in the first quarter, with Jayden Moore accounting for 9 of the first period points.

The Lady Lions were finally able to get on the board in the second quarter, connecting on a three-point shot, but the Lady Panthers again scored 11 and held a 22-3 lead at the half.

The Lady Panther reserves saw a bulk of the minutes in the second half, and the host continued to build a lead on the visitors, outscoring the Lady Lions 9-3 in the third and finished off the fourth quarter 4-0. The Lady Panthers cruised to a 35-6 win over the Lady Lions.

Jayden Moore led the Lady Panthers with 16 points on the night, Gabii Ortiz, Addison Osborne, Haylee Carroll each had 4, Jazzy Conner 2, and Klayr Shepherd 1.

Sam Strepp and Madelyn Olmstead each had 3 for the Lady Lions. With the win the Lady Panthers improve to 5-2 on the season.

The Panthers’ pressure created opportunities early as they were able to sprint out to a 15-0 lead behind 9 from Cade Lomax.

The pace of the game continued to favor Lewis County in the second quarter as they again put up a big quarter, winning the period 21-7 and taking a comfortable 36-7 lead in at the half.

A 14-1 third quarter put the Panthers way out in front and a running clock on the board for the final six minutes. The Panthers pulled away to a 58-11 win at home.

Cade Lomax had 18 for the Panthers, Maddox Tanner 7, Ryan Tanner 6, Steele Moseley, Dakota Hull, Kade Carroll, and Julian Jones 4 each, Drew Ray, Jaxon Fite, Phenix McDonald, Bo Banks, and Carter Stewart 2 each, and Sam Moore 1 point. With the win, the Panthers record improved to 6-1 on the season.
