Memorial and Honor Donations to Library and Archives

November 19, 2020

The Lewis County Public Library and Archives invites you to pay tribute to someone special in your life by making a meaningful donation to the library in his or her name. Your gift is the perfect way to remember the achievement, birthday, anniversary, or life of a loved one. By giving to the library, your gift becomes a vital part of our collection and can be shared and enjoyed by others in the community.

A financial donation may be made for the library’s building and expansion fund or a book may be added to our circulating collection. Honoree and tribute names for expansion donations will be added to the fundraising mural within the library, and the same information will be placed on permanent display once the expansion is complete. Books added to the library’s collection will receive a commemorative bookplate and the same information will be placed in a permanent ledger. A card for both types of donations will be mailed to the person or family being honored. Your contribution to the library’s building and expansion fund is tax deductible.
