November 25, 2020

Sunday morning started off with mild temperatures, but by the time church was over, it was raining and windy and was very cool. The rest of the day was about the same with rain and wind. Saturday was very pretty with temperatures in the seventies and upper sixties most of the day and the children enjoyed playing outside with some friends and cousins.

We wish for these many more happy days to celebrate life and hope they have a great birthday.

We express sympathy to the family of Rodney Earl Davis, Catherine E. Livingston, Charlotte Carlota Margarita Hopton Jones Hayman, Robert E. “Bobby” Brown, Robert Joe Reed, Gertie Lou Sullivan, Edward Eugene “Gene” Durham, Elsie Lee Rochelle, Louis David Colon, Mary Lucille Forrester Cagle, and Billy John McCaleb: prayers for these families and any other families that have lost loved ones.

Hope everyone has a great holiday weekend and enjoys time with relatives and friends but remember to be safe while visiting. It is a time to give thanks for all we have and all we are blessed with in our lives. Sometimes we forget to be thankful for all the physical blessings we have and even those blessings of friends who make us feel wanted and needed. This time of quarantine with the virus has had an adverse effect on many and caused many problems with self-thought. We must be positive and keep looking to the creator who gave us life and all the blessings we have to provide a way to the future and that it will be better.

Praying for all those who are still confined in nursing and rehab centers or hospitals with the virus and hopefully they will soon be home and feeling much better and be able to be out and enjoy their friends and family. May you enjoy the coming days and time spent with those you love.

The Christmas parade will be coming up the first Thursday in December and that marks the beginning of the end of the year and hopefully the New Year will be a much better and healthier year for all those who have been sick. I have prayers in my heart for our nation and its rulers.
