Name: Lea Ann Anderson

Age: 59

How long have you lived in Hohenwald? I lived in Hohenwald until 1981, then we moved away for college and military life. We came back home in 1992.

What did you want to be when you grew up? I always wanted to be a school teacher.

Is that what you became? If not, what are you? I have been teaching first grade for 27 years.

If you could tell your 16 year old self anything, what would it be? If I were 16 again, I would remind myself to enjoy every second of every day, because 59 sure does come quickly.

What is your favorite song? Night Moves by Bob Seger.

If you could visit anywhere, where would you go? I would definitely go to Ireland.

What is your favorite holiday, and why? Christmas, because it’s the happiest time of the year.

If a child asked you what the meaning of life was, what would be your answer? To always be kind and wear a smile on your face!
