How long have you lived in Hohenwald?

I have lived in Hohenwald for 26 years, and I love it!

What did you want to be when you grew up?

Honestly, I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up!

Is that what you became? If not, what are you?

Snappy's Pizza became a family business and I love it and feel very blessed!

If you could tell your 16 year old self anything, what would it be?

If I could tell my 16 year old self something, I would say, slow down and don't try to grow up so fast, being an adult is a bad trap! Haha! I became a mom at a young age, so I grew up quick.

What is your favorite song?

"What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong and "Live Like You Were Dying" by Tim McGraw.

If you could visit anywhere, where would you go?

I had a dream vacation planned this year to go to Europe, but COVID stopped that. I hope to get there still, though!

What is your favorite holiday, and why?

My favorite holidays are Christmas and Valentine's Day. Both, you get to give and get gifts, and I love to do that. It makes you think of others.

If a child asked you what the meaning of life was, what would be your answer?

I feel the meaning of life is this: be kind, and take time for others. There is joy in thiknking and doing for others, and there is no guarantee of tomorrow. A hug or short message could bring so much joy. I tell all of the teenagers that have worked for me over the years that it's not what you say, but how you say it.
