Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Joseph Joy

"Daniel and I met at college," said Ashley of her groom. "Once I got to know him, I knew he would be the man I would marry. He is so sentimental and made the proposal as special as he could during this nation's shutdown."

On April 22, Daniel surprised Ashley with a dinner outing. Once the couple arrived to his home, the entire upstairs was decorated with pictures of them, rose petals and candles, and he was standing by a wooden sign that said, "Will you marry me?"

Friends and family gathered at Freedom Holy Temple Church on December 12, 2020 to celebrate the couple as they became Mr. and Mrs. Joy.

The groom's parents are Kathy Joy and Keith Davis, and James and Kendra Joy. His grandparents are Billie Renfrow and Carolyn Joy, Kenneth Young, and the late Jerry Renfrow and David Joy.

The bride is the daughter of Dale and Cindy Floyd. Her grandparents are David and Sandra Lowery, and Glen and Angela Floyd.
