Johanna Hendrikie O'Guin was born on October 28, 1965, in Deming, New Mexico, and passed away on December 21, 2020, in Centerville. She was 55 years old.

She is the daughter of Johannes and Jacoba Waagleer.

She is survived by her husband, Douglas O'Guin of Centerville; daughter, Robbi Selvidge of Clarksville; sons, Ryan Rue Bush of Deming, New Mexico, Jacob Selvidge of Arizona, Daniel Selvidge of Centerville, and Thomas Selvidge of Clarksville; several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.

Mrs. O'Guin worked for many years as a flight medic, first in New Mexico and more recently in Tennessee for Vanderbilt.

She loved being outside and could find beauty in almost anything in nature. She loved rocks, trees, and clouds because she could always see something in them that made them look like something else. She was always standing and never sat down or was still. She loved cheering her children on at their baseball games when they were playing.

Graveside service was held Tuesday, December 29 in the O’Guin Cemetery in Hohenwald with Anthony Pesnel officiating.

McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville assisted the family with arrangements.
